Hi!
I’m going to tell you about food and diet in Poland. In our country people usually eat for breakfast eggs, cornflakes with milk, sandwiches with meat and fruit or vegetables. Most people have it in the morning, of course, at about 7 a. m.
For lunch we often eat sweet bread with chocolate or marmalade, twirl ( roll muffin), biscuits, cakes, some bars, yoghurts, fruit ( apples, bananas, oranges). Some teenagers eat lunch in school canteens. There are warm meals, for example: sauerkraut and mushroom dumplings, pizza, hot dogs. At school there is also cafeteria. There we can drink coffee, hot chocolate, capuccino or tea. Sometimes lunch is also eaten as dinner. Most people in our country have lunch at 11 o’clock a. m.
For dinner people eat two courses: hot soup ( it is often bean soup, mushroom soup, vegetable soup, tomato soup) and second course.Often for dinner there are potatoes with salad and white meat. Sometimes instead of potatoes there is rice or pasta, but the most important ingredient in Polish dinner is meat. We have it at about 3 p.m. Some poles eat small meal after dinner. Generally it is something sweet, light salad or yoghurt. Nothing special.

Hello !
In Belgium, we don't really eat eggs.
I think that it's very good that you have a school canteen.
In Sainte-Julienne (my school) there aren't any canteens and I think it's a pity. You are very lucky :) !!
Goodbye everybody,
Aurélie

Hi!
It looks delicious!!! But it's a little different from our country.
We don't eat meat for breakfast (yerk!!!).
You eat your dinner very early!!!
As far as we are concerned, it's after six o'clock.
Your lunch at the school canteen is not very healthy. You must do a lot of sport to lose your calories!!!
See you, Maud...
Hello !
I've read this text and I've been amzed. I see that in Poland, you eat a lot of meat. For breakfast for example, you eat meat and I wonder how you can do it ! Because for me, I think it's possible to eat meat for breakfast. I'm used to eating corn flakes, bread, fruit... So, I think it's strange to include meat at this meal like that. But for the other meals, lunch and dinner, I think it's the same for me.
